IT security

CISSP, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst, CCNA Security, MS in IT with a concentration in Infrastructure Assurance plus 12+ years of experience ranging from large enterprise networks to small organizations. I have the experience and training to help you meet most IT Security challenges.

Network

Having a networking expert on staff is expensive, and not feasible for most small to mid-size organizations. I provide as needed technical support. You can rest easy knowing that experienced help is just a call or email away.

*nix administration

Lots of great free and open source software runs on Linux, but Linux is not necessarily user friendly and easy to learn. I have the experience and skills to help you implement and maintain anything that runs on Linux.

Virtual Private Networking (VPN)

I spent 2+ years testing SSL and IPSec VPN products to the protocol level. My days were spent configuring the products and looking at packets. Whether you want to implement a simple remote access VPN or a complex multi-site IPSec VPN I can help.

Cloud Computing

What is this "cloud" you speak of? Whether you already have apps running in the cloud, or are looking for the best and most economical way to leverage the cloud I can help. I have experience with Amazon Web Service (AWS), Rackspace, and Google Compute Engine. I can help you select the best platform for your needs and get your app up and running in no time.
